What Is Christmas All About?নমুনা
Joy to the World
Hey you, guess what! You’ve made it to day three—halfway through this Bible Plan! And it’s time to get down to the whole message of Christmas. Are you ready for it? Okay, here it comes. Don’t miss this next sentence!
God loves you.
That’s the message of Christmas. In fact, it’s the message of the whole Bible! God’s love for you is patient, kind, and gentle. It doesn’t keep track of all your mistakes. God’s love is humble enough to strip away its glory and become a basic human so He could make a way for people to be with Him forever. Isn’t that some pretty great news? It’s the reason why the Christmas season is a season of joy.

God brought Himself close to everyone. Jesus literally walked on Earth as a human. And God is with you right now. The Bible teaches that His Holy Spirit lives inside anyone who chooses to trust and follow Jesus. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead can live inside everyone! It’s amazing! It might make you feel like smiling, laughing, running around the block, and shouting for joy! (All the exclamation points!)
And why not? Joy to the world! The Lord has come!
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son …” John 3:16 NLT
Ask yourself: How does it make me feel when I forget God is with me? How do I feel when I remember God is close?
Challenge yourself: Remind five people today that God is with them. Watch their face. See how they respond. You can say something (or write something) like, “Hey! I just wanted to tell you that God is with you. Don’t forget it. Oh, and merry Christmas!” You just might be the one who spreads God’s joy to others today!
Pray: God, thank You for being with us! Christmas is the time when we remember You came to be with us. And it’s such a happy thought. Thank You for staying with us, too, through Your Holy Spirit. Help me to remember how close you are and to feel joy in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, amen.
