What Is Christmas All About?নমুনা
God Sees You—Yes, You!
Have you ever felt like you’re ignored? Like people pay more attention to other people than they do to you? If yes, you’re certainly not alone. So many people feel this way. And, sadly, a lot of people are overlooked by others. But God never overlooks anyone. In fact, He is careful to make sure that those who are sometimes overlooked by people get special attention from Him! It happened on the first Christmas. Watch this video for more on that.
God sent angels to announce the birth of His Son to the richest, most popular, most powerful people in town, right? Nope. To regular, ordinary, often overlooked, not-considered-important-at-all shepherds? Yup.
This Christmas, instead of worrying if others see you or value you, stop. Don’t stress over whether you’ll get the best presents of anyone else you know. Don’t worry about who’s inviting who to which Christmas party. Just pause. Remember you’re seen. Remember you’re valued. Remember you’re the reason Jesus came to Earth in the first place! It was for everyone. You’re included.
Ask yourself: What can I do when I’m struggling with feeling ignored or unimportant?
Challenge yourself: Grab four pieces of paper. Write one of these words on each sheet: Chosen, Valued, Seen, Invited. Now, hang them on all four walls of your room, or facing you on all four sides of your bed. When you’re in your room, no matter which way you face, you’ll see that God chose you, He values you, He sees you, and He invites you to come and worship Him.
Pray: God, thank You for announcing the best news ever to the people others thought were the least important. That shows how much You value everyone. You don’t want anyone left out of Your family. Thank You for including me! Help me to include and invite as many people as I can to be in Your family, too. In Jesus’ name, amen.
