Finances in Marriageনমুনা

It can be easy to feel you need “just a little bit more” to be content, but Hebrews 13:5 commands us to “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’” God’s perfect love and presence are the greatest gifts we will ever receive, greater than anything money can buy. So we should take care not to strive after money but to seek contentment and joy in the perfect presence of God.
Take a moment to close your eyes, breathe, and remember that the presence of the living God is always with you. Then, write down everything you want to buy before you finally have “enough.” Look at the list and ask Holy Spirit to help you release those things to Him and help you remember His presence in moments where you find yourself striving for things.
