Lead And Followনমুনা
I can make a difference.
A lot of bad things happen every day. You might see someone get bullied. You might see someone who gets hurt. You might even see animals without homes, people without food, people throwing trash on the ground, or someone who’s sick and can’t take care of their yard.
When you see bad things like that, you can let them ruin your day. That’s letting evil conquer you. Or, you can do something good to make a difference. That’s conquering evil by doing good!
When you see something bad, and it really upsets you, you can choose to make a difference. Pray, ask God what to do about it, and do it!
*Remember to stay safe if it’s a dangerous situation by talking to a trusted grown up, first.
Watch the video to learn Romans 12:21. Have a Sticky Race to help you remember to conquer evil with good instead of letting evil conquer you!
Sticky Race
- Get a friend, two pieces of paper, two pencils, two pairs of scissors, and some tape.
- Race your friend to see who can write the whole Verse for Romans 12:21 on the paper.
- Keep racing to see who can cut the words apart first.
- Finish the race by seeing who can use sticky tape to put the words back together in order.
Talk It Over: Talk about a time when you saw something bad happen and you let it ruin your day. Talk about a time you saw something bad happen and you did something good to make a difference.
