How to Get Your Fight Backনমুনা
REJOICING THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS
A weight trainer does not celebrate in the midst of his training. He simply keeps pushing, keeps pumping, and keeps lifting until he sees the visible signs of his muscles bonding together in a concrete way. His strength comes from the process, not from the final result.
Ezekiel saw God form an entire army out of a valley of bones before he heard God’s promise of bringing the people back to Israel. He saw it all come together and praised God because of it. He didn’t wait until the people were restored to Israel just as we shouldn’t wait until we are delivered from our demise. The process is as powerful as the promise.
“Why did God use bones to illustrate this point,” you’ll say, “and why didn’t He just restore the people to Israel just like that?” The answer is twofold. First, bones have a natural fit that only God knows. God knit us together in our mother’s womb and made bones that can only fit with certain parts. A thigh bone does not belong on an arm, a jawbone does not belong on a hand, etc. Second, the structuring of the bones is a slow and arduous process, one that takes time and patience. If we rushed it and only sought the end, we wouldn’t appreciate the mastery of God’s craftsmanship. Like a blacksmith crafting a beautiful trinket, God puts us through the fire so that we come out as gold.
Praising God in the process means that we have faith that He will deliver us out of where we are and into where we need to be. We are energized to fight for who we are because we know whose we are. We must realize that not only will it come together, but it is coming together. It is not just a possibility; it is a certainty. If we are going to get our fight back, we need to be absolutely certain that the same God who delivered us in the past and who delivers us today, will deliver us tomorrow. The very fact that He has delivered us denotes the power that he will deliver us. And if we are certain of that, no devil in Hell, no principality, no power, nor anything can stop us from getting our fight back!
We are rejuvenated in Him, knowing that it is already done.
About this Plan
Sometimes we lose our fight in this life and the desire to keep going. But what if God called you to a place where your path isn’t linear but a learning process? It’s time to heed the call to action, listen for God’s commands, understand that you’re not alone in how you feel, and praise Him in the process so you can get your fight back!
