Who I Say God Isনমুনা
Revelation, the Lion, and the Lamb
We've thought a lot this week about misconceptions of God. If, instead, we could draw back the veil of heaven, who would we see? Well, Jesus; but not as He would have been seen during His first advent.
Jesus appears as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. You don't want to get on the wrong side of a lion! If the Lion is your King, however, you can be confident that you're on the winning side.
Jesus isn't just the Lion King; He's also the Lamb who was slain for the sins of the world. He's not just any old lamb that cannot take away our sins. He's the Lamb of God, the only perfect, spotless one.
Worshipping the Lion God is one thing, but a Lamb who was slain? But the Lamb who was slain IS the victorious Lion of God, to whom all creation will bow. Worthy is the Lamb who was slain!
'God Almighty, we worship the Lion and the Lamb, and ask that we would know You truly as our Lord and Saviour, in Jesus' name, amen.'
Do you worship the Lion and the Lamb?

About this Plan
We often like to think and sing about 'Who God Says I Am,' but what if we were to change the focus from us to God? Is our understanding of 'Who I Say God Is' accurate, or do we have a distorted view of the Divine? Let's consider different conceptions of God in the Bible, as we seek to realign our visions to the Truth.
