Who I Say God Isনমুনা
Man-made in God's image
'Who I say God is' might not seem as important as 'who God says I am'. But it's important for us individually to have the right view of God. We do well to remember that we are made in God's image and likeness; God isn't made in our image and likeness.
Because we are made in God's image and likeness, when we consider ourselves we can see a reflection of God Himself. We are one humanity, but we're not all clones of one another. God created us male and female, equal, but different.
In a similar way, God Himself is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; different persons within the Divine whole, but One united yet diverse God. God is perfectly Holy in His triune state, He is the source of love; in fact, His very nature is love.
Because we're fallen, the image and likeness of God in us is broken and distorted. But even in our sinful mess, God can awaken us to love, and make us come alive spiritually. Having done so, we can be remoulded into the likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ.
'God Almighty, how amazing that You should make mere mortals like us in Your image and likeness. Please help us to become conformed to the likeness of Christ, in His name we pray, amen.'
Do you agree that God made us in His image and likeness? Does that amaze you?

About this Plan
We often like to think and sing about 'Who God Says I Am,' but what if we were to change the focus from us to God? Is our understanding of 'Who I Say God Is' accurate, or do we have a distorted view of the Divine? Let's consider different conceptions of God in the Bible, as we seek to realign our visions to the Truth.
