Our Little Onesনমুনা
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!
A few years ago, while playing in the snow, my little one stepped on dog poop and our snow fun was ruined. We went from being happy to being upset and we had to do a lot of boot cleaning. Someone else’s negligence impacted my little one.
This type of situation presents itself daily. One way or the other, other people’s choices and actions can affect us. This is one reason we cannot afford to be selfish in the place of prayer. We should never run out of people to pray for. Our prayer list should be updated frequently. Pray for someone else every day. We can choose a house, school, community, church, county, city, state, pastor, nation, president, friend, etc. to pray for. Your prayers have the power to save someone and save you in return.
Most importantly, if we genuinely want to see heaven on earth, we must be selfless in our prayer life. Today, we will pray for heaven on earth and ask God to superimpose his will over the will of the enemy in the lives of children in our communities, cities, and nations.
Jesus said to his disciples, “This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:9-10 (NIV). This is an invitation for us to pray for God’s will of salvation, healing, and peace to be established on earth.
Please take a moment and meditate on the scripture you just read.
Pray with understanding and pray in tongues if you can (1 Corinthians 14:14-15).
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for the grace and privilege to intercede on behalf of this community. Merciful Father, have mercy on us. Forgive us for the sin of idolatry. Let your kingdom come and your will be done in this community. Father, we know child molestation, abuse, and trafficking negate your will. So, we ask in the name of Jesus that every child abuser in this community be convicted. Let your Holy Spirit begin to work in their hearts. Almighty God, let child molesters in this community and my local church be exposed in the name of Jesus. Let child trafficking networks in this community, my city, and state be exposed in the name of Jesus. Let there be confusion in the camp of these evildoers and let their plans be frustrated in the name of Jesus (Joshua 10:10; Job 5:12; 2 Samuel 15:31). Thank you Father for answering these prayers.
