Celebrate Easterনমুনা
When Jesus arrived in Jerusalem, people threw their coats and palm leaves on the ground in front of Him as a sign of honor. Palm leaves are a symbol of victory and triumph. Jesus would have victory and triumph over sin and death.
What we now know as Palm Sunday started the most important sequence of events in history. In the days after this, Jesus would tell stories of what the Kingdom of God is like, He would have His last supper with the disciples and then offer His life as a sacrifice on the cross and rise again. Victory over death! He would triumph over evil and bring peace to the hearts of all who believed. Jesus is the King, but He didn’t live in a palace. He prayed for and blessed children, served others, and washed the feet of the disciples. He forgives us our sins and is the King of our heart.
Jesus is the King of kings and He is worthy of our praise.
