Hello Baby, I Love You! Abc's for Young Moms

DAY 6 OF 27

E

is for Embrace

What comes to mind when you think of the word, embrace? We might think of affection, a hug, or even an idea or belief with which we might agree. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the word embrace means 'to hold, cherish, love'. It can also mean 'accept' as in an idea or belief. When you hold your new little one, look into their eyes, and speak soft words of love, you are embracing him or her. You are cherishing, affirming, and actively demonstrating your love and God's love.

As you embrace your little one today allow your thoughts to linger on the deep love our Father in Heaven has for you. He loves and cherishes you right where you are; in your pj's, with no make-up, no shower, and maybe even covered in spit-up. God's love for you is beyond anything any of us can comprehend. As much as you love your baby, God's love for you is infinitely greater! Nothing can separate you from His great love.

As you embrace the little one you cherish, reflect upon, and fully embrace God's love for you and your baby. Be encouraged today knowing that the God who spoke our world into existence loves and cherishes you!

READ the SCRIPTURE

May God give you encouragement, wisdom, and understanding.

RESPOND in WORSHIP

Worship the Lord with your heart, soul, mind, and with your life. Record your thoughts, observations, and prayers in your journal or on your Notes app on your phone.

Take the Truth to Heart: Choose one Scripture that the Lord is using to renew your mind and transform your heart today.

Ask yourself, what is God revealing to me through this Scripture?

Bring the Truth to Life: Think of ways you can practically apply this Scripture.
