The Key to Empowerment
Something that’s always fascinated me about life with God is how, the more we spend time with Him, the more we look like Him. And the more we follow Him, the more we realize who He created us to be, what He created us to do and how He created us to do it.
It’s an adventurous, wonderful journey. And it’s also essential if we want to be used to fully empower and encourage others.
The broken, the hurting, the oppressed, the voiceless — we’re all called to reach them, speak up for them and help them. But if our own foundation is shaken and fractured, we won’t have the strength it takes to do it.
This is why having the empowerment of the Holy Spirit is so important. When we recognize who we are and what we’re capable of in Him, we’ll be able to empower others to experience the same.
Personal Reflection
Who does God say you are? What are some ways the Holy Spirit has empowered you? What opportunities do you have before you to encourage and empower others?

About this Plan
Culture often dictates that our worth, path, and identity are determined by our race, gender, the things we’ve done, and the things that have been done to us. Over the next 30 days, we will discover what it looks like to be bold, transparent, and confront our shame.
