WE ARE GOING TO REAP THE HARVEST FROM WHAT WE SOW OR DO
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. (1 John 3:4)
We humans need to be reminded of things many times so that it will stick in our minds and become a behavior. One time is not enough. We have to be reminded many times. However, the reminder becomes useless when it is rejected.
Rejection of a warning is the result of a hardened heart. This happened to the people of Israel: they hardened their hearts against the voices of the prophets at that time.
There are consequences for everything we do. Even nature tells us so. If we sow jackfruit seeds, we will reap jackfruit trees and fruits. We will not reap a durian tree. The things we reap depend on the things we sow. If we sow evil, we will reap sin. The wages of sin is death.
We are living in the law of Christ where God, who is love, can help and redeem us from our sins and transgressions. However, we must not play around in this life. We must keep our lives holy because the Lord who loves us is the Most Holy God. Let us sow right deeds—good deeds and righteous deeds—and live in the fear of God. If we do this, we will reap all the best that comes from Almighty God.
God calls us sow seeds of righteousness.
