I Depend on Your Supply
God said to Abraham: "I am more than enough, the source of every blessing."
What or who is your source?
In times of uncertainty, in the midst of inflation, in the midst of devaluation, in the midst of political elections, who is your source? In watching negative news daily on TV or social networks, who is your source?
I depend on God's provision.
It was a few months ago that I had this revelation on another level. Recently, I've gone through a process in which God has brought me to my knees and reminded me that He is my Source and my Provider. I found myself in a position where I had to make important decisions and I felt that God, in the midst of all that, was encouraging me to keep moving forward, confident that He would provide for what was needed.
Depending on His provision does not mean that we deny reality. It means that we live according to the economy of heaven, that we decide to elevate our faith. It means that during the week, when negative reports come in, we can stand on the Word of God and firmly declare that we are not subject to the conditions of this world, but to those of the Kingdom of God.
I understand that I am not dependent on my boss, or the economy, or the government, or my salary. I depend on my God because He is more than enough. He is the source of every blessing. He is my provider.
We were not called to live as victims, defeated and limited by the conditions of this world. Our dependence is on a God who never fails and who will never abandon us. His economy is much more sustainable than ours.
In Philippians 4, Paul says he knows what it is to live in scarcity and in abundance, what it is to be hungry or to have a full table. Then he thanks the Philippians for their support and declares that God will provide them with everything they need.
God will also provide everything you need today, not according to the economy of the country or what is going on around you, but according to the glorious riches we have in Christ Jesus!
For years I have sown seed after seed, and I have truly seen God's faithfulness. Today I believe that for some of you, it is time to do an extraction of seeds sown in the past, but everything will depend on your level of faith and dependence.
Stop looking for provision in places that God did not design for it, start depending on the One is greater than any other source.
