LIVE HOLY AND BE A BLESSING
God repeatedly reminded the people of Israel of His holiness. When God repeats information it means that it is very important. God is holy, indeed. If we always want to be in the shelter of God, then we must keep holiness as a standard in our lives.
Keeping holiness in our lives means that we do not want to compromise on sin or disagree with things that are contrary to the Word of God, the Truth. The Israelites were reminded not to compromise with the actions of foreign nations that were contrary to His ways.
God calls us to do glorious and holy things. Holiness does not mean that we become weird or unrelated to unbelievers. It means that we are not involved in the evil of others.
A holy life also means a life full of compassion and mercy— compassion to those who lives are in distress, so that we become a channel of blessing for many.
Living a holy life means that we must live separately from worldly behavior, but still influence others to live righteously and have high moral standards. May our lives be holy until the second coming of Christ.
A holy life is a standard for a believer's life.
