Minor Adjustments: "Anywhere But Backward"নমুনা
"Stay Humble"
The first test of a great man or woman is their humility. By humility, I don't mean doubt of their powers or hesitation in speaking their opinion, but merely an understanding of the relationship of what they can say and what they can do. Do you wish to be great? Think first about the foundation of humility, because the higher your structure is to be, the deeper must be its foundation. Power is dangerous unless you have humility. You must STAY HUMBLE.
- The word humility means the state or quality of being humble; freedom from pride and arrogance; lowliness of mind; a modest estimate of one's worth.
· Who do you know that’s humble?
· What is your foundation built on?
· Do you believe power is dangerous without humility?
· Has a situation in your life ever humbled you before?
A lot of parents today are terrified that something they say to their children might make them "feel bad." But, hey, if they've done something wrong, they should feel bad. It’s a proven fact that children or adults with a sense of responsibility, and not entitlement, who know when to experience gratitude and humility, will always be better at navigating through life.
One of the lessons that I grew up with was to always stay true to yourself and never let what somebody else says distract you from your goals. And so when I hear about negative and false attacks, I don't invest any energy in them, because I know who I am. I teach people that no matter what the situation is, no matter how chaotic, no matter how much drama is around you, you can heal by your presence if you just STAY within your center.
- The word stay means to remain; to continue in a place; to continue in a state, to remain for the purpose of.
· Who moves you out of your center?
· Where do you invest your energy?
· Why can’t you remain focused?
· Do you find it hard to stay positive for a long period of time?
When I was younger, I went around town committing all types of crimes due to my addiction to drugs, and I found myself going back and forth to prison. I felt that the best I could do for my parents and family and for myself was to stay open to the experience and learn whatever I could at every step of the way as it was going on. The only way I knew how to deliver is to focus; some people can turn it on or off–I’d rather STAY in character.
About this Plan
If you are in bondage to something and it seems that you can’t overcome it, then this plan was designed with you in mind. Michael Williams Jr. was in bondage to drugs for 22 years, then one day he totally surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit then led him to make some “Minor Adjustments,” which he recorded with the hope that it’ll help you in your deliverance.
