Minor Adjustments: "Anywhere But Backward"নমুনা
"There's a PURPOSE in Your Past"
For you to begin the process of allowing your past to push you into your destiny, you must first know that despite all the bad choices and situations and the negative things you have done in your past, you still have a purpose for living! So many people want their lives to have meaning. They want to do the right thing but are often unsure of what that is. You and I were created to do something extraordinary. You have a PURPOSE!
- The word purpose means to set as an aim, intention, or goal for oneself the reason for which something exists.
• Who are you?
• What’s your purpose?
• Are you aiming for anything of importance?
• Where do you have to go and what do you have to do for your purpose to be reached?
No matter what anyone says to you or no matter how you look at it, you have a Purpose for this world and you have a reason for living. Telling yourself that you have a purpose even though you’re present situation may have you feeling broken inside is a great place for you to begin. Start by encouraging yourself! Stop waiting on others; tell yourself, "I have a Purpose! I have a Purpose! I have a Purpose! I have a Purpose! I have a Purpose!"
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But it’s one thing that I always do: and that’s forgetting what I did in my PAST and reaching toward what’s AHEAD! The only reason you need to look back at your past is to learn more about Yourself!
- The word past means what has existed or has happened at some earlier time, or an earlier point of a person’s life or career, etc.
• Who do you blame for your past?
• What are you holding on to from your past?
• Did your past break you down?
• Can you leave it behind?
Don’t get down on yourself and think that you’re the only one with a past because everybody has a past. The study has shown that PAST behaviors are the best predictor of future behaviors! However, that only applies if nothing changes. When you begin to make the needed minor adjustments in your life, you’re not only going to change directions, but you will also make them scholars who did the study go back to the drawing board!
You cannot change the past, but you can always choose a different direction and use your old one to push you AHEAD!
About this Plan
If you are in bondage to something and it seems that you can’t overcome it, then this plan was designed with you in mind. Michael Williams Jr. was in bondage to drugs for 22 years, then one day he totally surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit then led him to make some “Minor Adjustments,” which he recorded with the hope that it’ll help you in your deliverance.
