Our Response - To God's Plan For Our Lifeনমুনা
Making Life Count
“…so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way.”
To believe that God guides us, we need to develop a relationship where we can identify God’s voice. We know our loved ones at the door just hearing their voice even before we see them. The more time we spend with our loved ones, the more we come to know of their likes and dislikes. Consciously spending time with God, helps us to get to know Him better.
The promise ‘all these things shall be added unto you’, fascinated and challenged me to seek God first in my life. Looking back, I have no regrets. God has blessed me materially, spiritually and emotionally, things beyond my imagination. It was and is worth giving God first place in my life.
Moses's prayer saying “If Your presence does not go with us,…do not lead us up” is another principle I follow. God’s presence would help us to move to the uncomfortable places God’s plan takes us. God’s presence was with me when I went through the many dark days of my life.
I was made to believe that I am an unrealistic girl. I lived through days of confusion and doubt concerning myself and my relationship with God. My relationship with God was ridiculed and belittled on many occasions. I doubted the very foundation of my life and wondered if it was just my imagination. It took Christ, to lead me on a journey to move from a state of being lonely and confused to gain my confidence of who I am in Christ. From there, Christ used the skills I had never imagined. The joy and peace I have found in my life challenge those around me. God sure has ways of encouraging us when we are down. Find God’s plan for your life, you may not understand it, but you will not regret willingly choosing it.
Our life on earth counts as we share the joy of the relationship with Christ with others around us.
God’s plan for us is about building eternal treasures in heaven…
It is our choice, but it’s God’s wish
that we would willingly allow Him to guide us in our life choices.
All our choices have consequences good or bad both on earth and in eternity
About this Plan
Is God's plan different from what the world calls ‘Fate’? If God has planned our life, where is our choice? Is it logical for God's plan and our free will to co-exist?
