GENERATION 31: Becoming The Bride That Changes The Worldনমুনা
Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.
Mother Teresa’s famous quote speaks to the character of the Proverbs 31 Bride—A person who, for all their great status and wealth, actively seeks to practically care for the needy beyond their door and those that work for and with them. A church that changes the World is a church that takes little steps to serve the people in front of them and to empower them not just to survive, but to thrive.
The wise man of Proverbs describes the way the Proverbs 31 Bride cares for those around Her: She actively reaches out to those in need instead of waiting for the need to come to Her. She meets the needs and ensures the well-being of the people placed under Her—in her workplace, in her home, in her ministry. She shows value for Herself and her Bridegroom by taking the time to prepare both her home and her appearance.
What little steps can you take today to do each of these? What needs can you actively seek to meet in your community? How can you serve those who serve, work, or live under your leadership? Take time in prayer to ask the Lord to reveal these to you. A Church made of servant leaders is an unstoppable Church.
