Brïng tha wee lad tae me!” 20Sae the' brocht hïm, an whaniver tha spïrit saa Jesus, ït sent tha lad ïntae a fït, an he faad tae tha grun, rowlin aboot an foamin at tha mooth. 21“Hoo lang haes he bin laik thïs?” Jesus axt tha faither. An he saed, “Since he wus a wean. 22An monies tha time ït haes throwed hïm ïntae tha fire an ïntae tha wattèr as weel, tae dae awa wi hïm; sae ïf You can dae oniethin ava, tak peetie on iz an halp iz.” 23Jesus saed, “Whut dae ye main bi ‘If A can’? Oniethin ïs poassible whan a bodie believes!” 24An richt awa tha wee lad's faither cryed oot, “Loard, A dae believe, but tak awa tha doots A hae!” 25Jesus saa that tha crood wus gettin bïgger, an he gien tha wïckit spïrit a richt barjin, sayin, “Cum oot o hïm, ye deef an dum spïrit, an stye oot!” 26An tha spïrit gien a scraich an ït throwed tha lad tae tha grun ïn anither fït, jist afore ït cum oot o hïm. Tha wee fella lukt as ïf he haed deed, an sae tha crood saed, “He's deid.” 27But Jesus tuk hïm bi tha han an halpt hïm tae hïs feet, an he wus fït tae stan. 28A while latèr, whaniver Jesus wus ïn tha hoose on hïs ain wi hïs follaers, the' axt hïm, “Whut fer cud we no cast tha ïll spïrit oot?” 29An he saed, “Ye can onlie git rïd o thïs kine bi prayer [an fastin].”

He toul thaim, “Tha Sinn o Man'll be hannit ower tae men that wull kïll hïm. Eftèr thrie days but, he'll rise frae tha deid.” 32But the' cudnae unnèrstan whut he wus mainin, an the' wur feart tae ax hïm aboot ït.
Wha wull be tha maist thocht o?
33An he cum tae Capernaum, an whan he wus ïn tha hoose the' wur stayin at, he axt thaim, “Whut wur ye argyin aboot on tha wye here?” 34But the' dïdnae say ocht, becas the' haed bin argyin aboot wha amang thaim wus tha maist thocht o. 35An he sut doon an caad thaim ower, an saed tae thaim, “Whaiver wants tae be furst maun tak tha hinmaist place, an be tha sarvint o iverie ither bodie.” 36An he tuk a wean an stud hïm amang thaim; then he tuk hïm ïn hïs airms an saed tae thaim, 37“Whaiver walcums yin o these weans ïn ma name, bïds me walcum, an whaiver bïds me walcum, walcums no me alane, but hïm that sent me as weel.”
