1and Yosef is fell on his father's face, and he has wept over him, and has him kissed. 2and Yosef has commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father; and the physicians have embalmed Yisroel. 3and it are fulfilled having become over him forty days, because thus many days must be fulfilled become at embalming. and the Egyptians have him mourned for seventy days.
4and that the days of his mourning are over, has Yosef spoken to Pharaoh's house, so to say: if, I entreat you, I have found favor in your (PL) eyes, speak, I entreat you (PL), in the ears of Pharaoh, so to say: 5my father has me swear an oath, so to say: behold, I die; in my tomb which I have me dug in land Canaan, there shall you (sg) me bury. and now, let me go up, I entreat you, and bury my father, and self to return.
6has Pharaoh said: go up, and bury your father, so as he has you swear an oath. 7is Yosef went up to bury his father, and with him are gone up all servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all elders of land Egypt, 8and this whole household of Yosef, and his brothers, and his father's household; only their small children, and their sheep and their cattle, have they left behind in land Goshen. 9also horseback riders and chariots are gone up with him, and the company is having been very great.
10and they are come to the threshing floor of Atad which on other side (of) Yarden, and have there wail/lament very a great and hard wail; and he has made a mourning/sadness on his father seven days.
11and the inhabitants of the land, the Kena'ani, have seen the mourning by the threshing floor of Atad, and they have said: a severe mourning is this by Egypt. therefore have they called the name of it Avel-Mitsrayim, which is on other side (of) Yarden.
12and his sons have done to him so as he has them commanded. 13and his sons have him carried away to land Canaan, and have him buried in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Avraham has purchased with field, for a grave own, from Ephron the Chitti, before Mamre.
14and Yosef has self returned to Egypt, after as he has buried his father, he and his brothers, and all which are gone up with him to bury his father.
15and when Yosef's brothers have seen that their father is dead, thus have they said: perhaps will us Yosef bear a hatred, and return will he us return all this evil things which we have him done. 16and they have ordered tell Yosef: your father has commanded before his death, so to say: 17thus shall you (PL) say to Yosef: forgive, I entreat you, the transgression/offense of your brothers and their sin, which they have you(SG) evil things done. and now, forgive, I entreat you, the transgression/offense of the servants of your father's G-d. and Yosef has wept that they have to him spoken.
18and his brothers are also having gone and are fell down before him, and have said: behold, we are your servants. 19has Yosef to them said: you (PL) shall not fear have; am I then on the place of G-d? 20for you (PL) has aimed at an evil for me, but G-d has it aimed at for a good, so that to make thus as this very day, to preserve at life a many people. 21and now, shall you (PL) not fear have; I will support you (PL) and your (PL) households. and he has them consoled/comforted, and them spoken to heart.
22and Yosef is remain in Egypt, he and his father's household; and Yosef has lived hundred and ten year. 23and Yosef has seen of Ephrayim great-grandchildren; also the children of Machir, Menasheh's son, are given birth/born having become on Yosef's knees.
24and Yosef has said to his brothers: I die; but remember will self G-d remember on you (PL), and he will you (PL) bring up from the from here land to the land which he has sworn Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov. 25and Yosef has swear an oath the sons of Yisroel, so to say: remember will self G-d remember on you (PL); shall you (PL) bring up my bones from here.
26and Yosef is died to hundred and ten years. and they have him embalmed, and he is put in having become in an aron/coffin in Egypt.
