1and he has ordered the which over his house, so to say: fill on the sacks of the men with food as much as they can carry, and do put into each money in mouth of his sack. 2and my cup, the silver cup, shall you (sg) put in in mouth of the sack of the youngest, with the money for his grain. and he has done thus as this word which Yosef has spoken.
3as the next day has begun to shine, thus are the men sent off having become, they and their donkeys. 4they are after what having come out of city, yet not having been far away, thus has Yosef said to the which over his house: stand up, pursue/chase after the men, and that you (sg) will them overtake, shall you (sg) say to them: why have you (PL) repaid an evil for a good? 5this is obviously the one which my master drinks from it, and divination does he divination with it. you (PL) have self evil committed with which you (PL) has done.
6and he has them caught up with, and has to them spoken the this words. 7have they to him said: why speaks my master such words? forbid shall become your servant from doing such thing! 8look, this money which we have found in mouth of our sacks, have we you(SG) returned from land Canaan, now how will we to steal from your master's house silver or gold? 9the those who of your servant which he will by him found become, shall die, and also we will be slaves to my master.
10has he said: though you should have now be thus as your (PL) words, shall only the which he will by him found become, be a slave to me, and you (PL) will be tahor/clean.
11have they on quickly let down/lowered each his sack on the ground, and they have opened each his sack. 12and he has searched; with eldest has he begin, and with youngest has he finished. and the cup is found having become in Binyamin's sack.
13have they torn their garments, and each has loaded up his donkey, and they have self returned in city. 14and Yehudah is having come with his brothers in Yosef's house; and he is yet there having been. and they are fell before him to the ground.
15has Yosef to them said: what is this for a deed what you (PL) have done? have you (PL) not known that divination do divination such a man as I?
16has Yehudah said: what shall we say to my lord, what shall we speak, and what shall we self justify? G-d has found/uncovered the sin of your servants. behold are we slaves to my lord, and we, and the one who the cup is found having become in his hand.
17has he said: far be it me this to do! the man which the cup is found having become in his hand, he shall be a slave to me, and you (PL) go up in peace to your father.
And he approached
18has Yehudah come near to him; and has said: I entreat you, my lord, shall now your servant speak a word in the ears of my lord, and shall your anger not be kindled on your servant; for you (sg) are so as Pharaoh. 19my lord has asked his servant, so to say: have you (PL) a father or a brother? 20and we have said to my lord: we have an aged father, and a very young son of his old age, that which his brother is dead, and he alone is remain from his mother, and his father has him loved. 21have you (sg) said to your servants: bring him down to me, I shall do/set my eye on him. 22have we said to my lord: the boy can not forsake his father, because that he will forsake his father, will this one die. 23have you (sg) said to your servants: if your youngest brother will not go down with you (PL), shall you (PL) more my face not see. 24and it is having been, that we are come up to your servant, our father, have we him told the words of my lord. 25and that our father has said: go again, buy us a little food, 26have we said: we can not go down; only if our youngest brother will be with us, will we go down, for we can not see the man's face, where our youngest brother is not with us. 27has your servant, my father, to us said: you (PL) know that two has me my wife given birth to. 28and one is went (his) way from me, and I have said: for surely, surely torn is he torn having become; and I have him not seen until now. 29and that you (PL) will take away also this from my face, and him will befall a calamity, will you (PL) make go down my gray hair with sorrow in Sheol. 30and now that I will come to your servant, my father, and the boy is with us not, as as his soul is bound to his soul, 31is, as he will see that the boy is not, thus will he die, and your servants will make go down the gray hair of your servant, our father, with mourning in Sheol. 32for your servant is guarantor having been for the boy to his father, so to say: if I will you(SG) him not bring, shall I be a wrong doer to my father all days. 33and now, I entreat you, shall your servant remain in place of the boy, a slave to my master, and the boy shall go up with his brothers. 34for how can I go up to my father, as the boy is not with me? I will far be it to see this evil which will befall my father.
