1and Yaakov has lifted up his feet, and is having gone to the land of the children of east. 2and he has a look done, see a well is in field, and behold, three flocks of sheep lay there beside it; because from that well used to they water the flocks of, and the stone on mouth of well is having been great. 3and when there have self gathered all flocks of, has they remove by rolling the stone of the mouth of well, and they has watered the sheep, and returned the stone on mouth of the well on its place.
4has Yaakov to they said: of whence are you (PL), my brothers? have they said: from Charan are we. 5has he to them said: know you (PL) Lavan the son of Nachor? have they said: we know. 6has he to them said: is peace to him? have they said: peace; and on comes his daughter Rachel with the sheep. 7has he to them said: look, the day is still great/long, yet not time this livestock shall gathered become; drink/water on the sheep, and go (on) grazing. 8have they said: we able to not, until how long all flocks of will self gathered together, and they will roll the stone from the mouth of well; and we will water the sheep.
9as he speaks still with them, thus is rachel arrived with her father's sheep; because she is having been a shepherdess. 10and it is having been, as Yaakov has seen Rachel, the daughter of Lavan, his mother brother, and the sheep of Lavan, his mother's brother, thus has Yaakov come near, and has remove by rolling the stone from the mouth of well, and has watered the sheep of Lavan, his mother's brother. 11and Yaakov has kissed Rachel, and has lifted up his voice and has wept. 12and Yaakov has told Rachel that he is her father's an kindred, and that he is Rivkah's a son; and she is ran, and has informed her father.
13and it is having been, as Lavan has heard the report concerning Yaakov, his sister's son, thus is he him ran to meet, and he has him embraced and him kissed, and has him brought in his house. and he has told Lavan all those these things. 14and Lavan has to him said: for surely, my bone and my flesh are you. and he is settled by him a month time.
15has Lavan said to Yaakov: or because you (sg) are my an kin, shall you (sg) me serve for nothing? say me what is your wage. 16and Lavan has have had two daughters; the name of the older is having been Leah, and the name of the younger Rachel. 17and Leah's eyes are having been weak, and Rachel is having been beautiful on form, and beautiful on face, 18and Yaakov has love got Rachel; and he has said: I will you(SG) serve seven years for your younger daughter Rachel. 19has Lavan said: better I shall her you(SG) give, before I shall her give to an other man; remain with me.
20and Yaakov has served for Rachel seven years, and they are having been in his eyes even as few days, because of his love to her. 21and Yaakov has said to Lavan: give me my wife, because my days are fulfilled having become; and I will come to her.
22has Lavan gathered all men of the place, and he has made a feast. 23and it is having been in evening, has he taken his daughter Leah, and has her brought to him, and he is having come to her. 24and Lavan has her given his female servant Zilpah – for a female servant to his daughter Leah.
25and it is having been in the morning, look this is Leah. has he said to Lavan: what have you (sg) me here done? have I not served with you(SG) for Rachel, and for what have you (sg) me deceived? 26has Lavan said: it shall be not done thus in our place, to give in marriage the younger before the older. 27complete the week of this one, and we will you(SG) also that give, for the you serve which you (sg) will serve with me yet seven other years.
28has Yaakov thus did, and he has completed the week of the that; and he has him given his daughter Rachel, him for a wife. 29and Lavan has given to his daughter Rachel his female servant Bilhah for a female servant to her.
30and he is having come also to Rachel. and he has Rachel also more love have had than Leah; and he has served with him yet seven other years.
31and Hashem has seen that Leah is unloved, and he has opened her womb; and Rachel is having been a barren/an akore. 32and Leah is conceived having become, and has given birth to a son, and she has called his name Reuven, because she has said: yes, Hashem has seen my suffering, because now will me my husband love have. 33and she is again pregnant having become, and has given birth to a son, and she has said: because Hashem has heard that I am unloved, therefore has he me given also this; and she has called his name Shim'on. 34and she is again pregnant having become, and has given birth to a son, and she has said: now this time will my husband become attached to me, because I have him given birth to three sons; therefore has one called his name Levi. 35and she is again pregnant having become, and has given birth to a son, and she has said: this time do I praise Hashem; therefore has she called his name Yehudah. and she has ceased to give birth.
