20and Yaakov has served for Rachel seven years, and they are having been in his eyes even as few days, because of his love to her. 21and Yaakov has said to Lavan: give me my wife, because my days are fulfilled having become; and I will come to her.
22has Lavan gathered all men of the place, and he has made a feast. 23and it is having been in evening, has he taken his daughter Leah, and has her brought to him, and he is having come to her. 24and Lavan has her given his female servant Zilpah – for a female servant to his daughter Leah.
25and it is having been in the morning, look this is Leah. has he said to Lavan: what have you (sg) me here done? have I not served with you(SG) for Rachel, and for what have you (sg) me deceived? 26has Lavan said: it shall be not done thus in our place, to give in marriage the younger before the older. 27complete the week of this one, and we will you(SG) also that give, for the you serve which you (sg) will serve with me yet seven other years.
28has Yaakov thus did, and he has completed the week of the that; and he has him given his daughter Rachel, him for a wife. 29and Lavan has given to his daughter Rachel his female servant Bilhah for a female servant to her.
30and he is having come also to Rachel. and he has Rachel also more love have had than Leah; and he has served with him yet seven other years.
31and Hashem has seen that Leah is unloved, and he has opened her womb; and Rachel is having been a barren/an akore. 32and Leah is conceived having become, and has given birth to a son, and she has called his name Reuven, because she has said: yes, Hashem has seen my suffering, because now will me my husband love have. 33and she is again pregnant having become, and has given birth to a son, and she has said: because Hashem has heard that I am unloved, therefore has he me given also this; and she has called his name Shim'on. 34and she is again pregnant having become, and has given birth to a son, and she has said: now this time will my husband become attached to me, because I have him given birth to three sons; therefore has one called his name Levi. 35and she is again pregnant having become, and has given birth to a son, and she has said: this time do I praise Hashem; therefore has she called his name Yehudah. and she has ceased to give birth.
