1and Hashem has spoken to Moshe, thus to say: 2speak to the children of Israel, they shall self return back, and dwell in front of Pi-Hahiroth, between Migdol and between the sea, in front of Baal-Tsefon; facing it shall you (PL) dwell by the sea. 3and Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel: they are confused in the land, the wilderness has them locked in. 4and I will resolute make Pharaoh's heart, and he will them pursue; and I will be honored become through Pharaoh, and through his whole army, and the Egyptians will know, that I am Hashem.
and they have thus done.
5was told having become the king of Egypt, that this people is fled, and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants is turned into having become against the people, and they have said: what have we here done, why we have released Israel from us to serve? 6has he harnessed his chariot, and has taken with self his people. 7and he has taken with six hundred chosen/finest chariots, and all chariots of Egypt, and the leaders over them all. 8and Hashem has resolute made the heart of Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and he has pursued after the children of Israel; and the children of Israel were going out with a high/defiant hand. 9and the Egyptians have them pursued after, all horses, the chariots of Pharaoh, and his horseback riders, and his army, and they have them caught up with as they have rested by the sea, by Pi-Hahiroth, in front of Baal-Tsefon. 10and as Pharaoh has self drawn near, thus have the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, look the Egyptians advancing behind them, and they have very much fear have had; and the children of Israel have cried out to Hashem. 11and they have said to Moshe: or because any grave places are there is not in Egypt, have you (sg) us taken to die in the wilderness? what have you (sg) here done to us, us to bring out of Egypt? 12is this not the word which we have spoken to you(SG) in Egypt, thus to say: do self away from us, and let us serve Egyptians? because better for us to serve Egyptians, than we shall die in the wilderness. 13has Moshe said to people: you (PL) must not fear have; stand and see the salvation of Hashem which he will for you (PL) today do; because just as you (PL) see today the Egyptians, will you (PL) them for ever more again not see. 14Hashem will battle fight for you (PL), and you (PL) will stand/stay silent.
15and Hashem has said to Moshe: which do you(sg) cry out to me? tell to the children of Israel, they must advance. 16and you (sg) lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over sea, and divide/split the sea, and the children of Israel will enter into midst of sea on dry ground. 17and I, behold, I make resolute the heart of the Egyptians, and they will enter after them; and I will be honored become through Pharaoh, and through his whole army, through his chariots, and through his horseback riders. 18and the Egyptians will know that I am Hashem, when I will be honored through Pharaoh, through his chariots, and through his horseback riders.
19and the Angel of G-d which is having gone before the company of Israel, has journeyed and is having gone of behind them; and the pillar of cloud has traveled from in front of them, and has self stood behind them; 20and he is having come between the army of Egyptians, and between the company of Israel; and there was having been the cloud and the darkness and here (for Israel) has he lit up the night; and the one has not come near to the other the whole night. 21and Moshe has stretched out his hand over the sea, and Hashem has driven the sea with a strong east wind a whole night, and made the sea for a dry ground, and the waters have self divided. 22and the children of Israel are went in midst of the sea on dry ground; and the waters are they having been a wall from their right side and from their left. 23and the Egyptians have pursued after, and all horses of Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horseback riders, have entered after them into midst of the sea. 24and it is having been in the morning watch, has Hashem looked down on the army of Egypt in a pillar of fire and cloud, and he has caused confusion the army of Egypt. 25and he has finished the wheels of their chariots, and them made to drive with difficulty, and the Egyptians have said: let us be fleeing from Israel, because Hashem holds battle for them with Egypt.
26and Hashem has said to Moshe: stretch out your hand over the sea, and shall the waters self to return upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horseback riders. 27has Moshe stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea has self returned towards morning to its solidity, and the Egyptians were it running away from to meet; and Hashem has shaken the Egyptians into midst of the sea. 28and the waters have self returned, and have covered the chariots, and the horseback riders – the whole army of Pharaoh, which has entered after them into the sea; not remained from them not even a single one. 29and the children of Israel are having gone in midst of the sea on dry ground and the waters are they having been a wall from their right side and from their left. 30and Hashem has in that day saved Israel from the hand of Egyptians, and Israel has seen the Egyptians dead on shore/bank of the sea. 31and Israel has seen the great power which Hashem has done against Egypt, and this people have fear had for Hashem, and they have believed in Hashem, and in his servant Moshe.
