chapter seven
1and it have self gathered to him the Pharisees, and some of the scribes, who are come from Jerusalem; 2and they have seen, that some of his disciples eat bread with unclean hands, that means without netilas yadayim; 3because the Pharisees and all Jews, if they wash self not the hands until to the elbow, to eat they not, because they keep the tradition of the elders; 4and when they come from marketplace, to eat they not, without themselves to wash; and a many other things are there, which they have taken over to keep, immersions of drinking vessels, and pots, and copper pots. 5and the Pharisees and the scribes have him asked; why lead/live the halakhah self your disciples not on according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unclean hands? 6he however did to them say; well did Yeshayah prophecies say about you (PL), hypocrites, as it stands written:
the these people give Me up honor with the lips,
however their heart is distant from Me.
7and in vain worship they Me, because they teach commands,
which are ordered by (mere) human beings.
(Yeshayah 29, 13)
8you (PL) abandon Hashem's commandment, and keep the tradition of men. 9and did to them say: fine make you (PL) null and void Hashem's command, so that you (PL) shall keep your tradition. 10because Moses did say: you (SG) you shall give honor your father and your mother, and the one, who curses father or mother, shall put to death to be. (Exodus 20, 12; 21, 17.) 11you (PL) however say: if a man will say to the father or to the mother: sacrifice, that means a (exempt) gift to Hashem, shall be that which you (SG) need (as support) from me enjoyed to be; 12allow you (PL) him now nothing more do for the father or for the mother; 13you (PL) make negated Hashem's word by your tradition, which you (PL) have handed on; and a many such things do you (PL). 14and did again call the crowd (of) people to himself, and to them said: hear Me all (of you) to, and understand! 15there is not any thing from outside of the people, which (when) going inside into him can him impure make; only that which comes out from the people is it, which is defiling the people. 16if someone has ears to the hear, shall he hear! 17and when he is from the crowd people come in in house into, did his disciples him ask about the parable. 18and he says to they, thus, also are you (PL) without understanding? (question) understand you (PL) then not, that all, that goes into in the people from outside, can him not defile? 19because it goes not into in (his) heart, but into stomach, and it goes out in house (of) the (toilet) seat into. so around did he declare all foods clean. 20and has said: what it comes out of the person, that is the person's defiling. 21because from inside, out the heart of the person, come out the evil thoughts, fornication, theft, murder, 22adultery, money greed, evil doing, deceit, debauchery, a evil eye, desecrating the name, conceit, unconcerned foolishness; 23all the these evil things come out from inside, and make the person unclean.
24and he has self picked up, and is from there went away to the borders of Tyre and Sidon. and when he is entered in a house, has he wanted, that no one shall it not know; and was not be able remain hidden. 25but immediately did a woman about him heard, whose her young daughter did have an unclean spirit, and she is come and is fall down by his feet. 26the woman is however was a Greek, a Syro-Phoenician according to nationality, and did him beg, that he shall cast out the evil spirit from her daughter. 27and he has to her said: let first the children filled to be; because it is not fair to take the bread from the children and it cast before the dogs! 28she however did answer and says to him: yes, L-rd; even the little dogs under table to eat of the broken pieces of the children! 29and he did say to her: on account of that very word go you (SG); the evil spirit is already out of your daughter. 30and she is went away to self home, and has found the child lying on the bed, and the evil spirit is already was gone out.
31and he is again went out from the borders of Tyre, and went through Tzidon to the sea of Galilee, in the midst of the borders of the Ten Cities (Decapolis). 32and they did bring carried in to him one, who was deaf and did stammer; and they has him begged, that he shall lay on him the hand. 33and he has him taken away from the crowd people on a side, did lay his finger in his ears into, and did spit and touched his tongue; 34and looking up to the heaven, did he give a sigh, and says to him; Ephphatha! that means open yourself up! 35and his ears have self open up, and immediately has self the band/ribbon of his tongue loose up made, and he did correctly speak. 36and he did them order that they should it nobody tell; however what more he did them order, all more did they this spread. 37and they are was astonished from astonishment, and have said: he has everything well done; even the deaf makes he to hear, and the mute speak!
