letter to the Jews 8

8
chapter eight
1well, this is the sum of all of that said: we have such a kohen gadol, which did Himself sat down on the right side of throne of glory of the (divine) magnificence in the heavens, 2a minister of the Mikdash and of the true Mishkan, which the L-rd (G-d) has built and not any man. 3because every kohen gadol is appointed he might offer offerings and sacrifices; therefore is necessary, that also he shall have what he might offer. 4therefore, if he were on the earth, would he nothing be any kohen, because are yet there such, who are offer offerings according to the Torah; 5which serve to a sketch and a shadow of heavenly things, according to as Moses is order become, when he was about to finish the Mishkan; because He has to him said: look, you (SG) you shall all make according to the pattern, which is you (SG) shown become on the mountain. 6however now has He attained a better ministry by as much, on how much also the covenant (Jer 31:31-34), of which He is the mediator/metavekh, is greater, which is fixed on greater promises. 7because if that first (agreement) were without a fault, would not sought become any place of for a second (one). 8because when making accusation to them, says He:
look come days, says the L-rd (G-d)
and I will make with the house Israel
and house Yehudah a new covenant,
9not according to the agreement, which I have made
with their ancestors in the day,
when I have them taken with the hand
them to lead out of Egypt,
because they are not remain in my agreement
and I have them rejected, says the L-rd (G-d).
10because this is the covenant,
which I will make with this house Israel after those days,
says the L-rd (G-d):
I will give my laws in their mind/thoughts,
and on their heart will I them write;
and will be their G-d, and they will be my people.
11and will more not teach every one his neighbor,
and every one the brother his, so to say:
know the L-rd (G-d), because all will Me know,
from the least until to the greatest of them;
12because I will be merciful on their lawless deeds,
and their sin will I more not remember.
(Yirmeyah 31, 30-33)
13and thereby, what He says a new (quote unquote), has He old (2 Cor 3:14) made the first (agreement, covenant); the old and out-of-date (for salvation) however is near vanish to be.
