Colossians letter 2

chapter two

1because I want you (PL) inform be, who for a great struggle I lead for your sake, and for the (ones) in Laodicea, and for all, who have not seen my face in the flesh; 2so that their hearts should encouraged be, joined together in love and toward the entire riches of the complete certainty of the understanding, so that they should know the mystery of Hashem and of the Moshiach, 3in whom are hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4the these say I, so that anyone shall you (PL) not persuade with smooth words. 5because although I am distant (from you (PL)) in the flesh, yet in the Spirit am I together with you (PL), rejoicing myself and seeing your order and the firmness of your (Derech Hashem) faith in the Moshiach.

6therefore, as you (PL) have received Moshiach Yehoshua the L-rd, so shall you (PL) live in Him, 7rooted and built up in Him, and established firmly in the faith, according to as you (PL) are taught become, and with a abundance of praise.

8give attention, that it shall you (PL) anyone not take captive through the philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of people, according to the foundational elements of the cosmos, and not according to Moshiach; 9because in Him dwells the whole fullness of the deity bodily, 10and you (PL) are filled in Him, Who is the Head of every authority and power; 11in Whom you (PL) are also circumcised become with a circumcision (circumcision) not with hands made, (but) through remove self of the body of (fallen) flesh (Rom 7:18), in the circumcision (circumcision) of the Moshiach; 12while/when you (PL) are buried become with Him in the mikveh, in which you (PL) are also raised with through the faith in the power of Hashem, who has Him rouse from the dead. 13and you (PL), who are was dead in sin and in the foreskin state of your flesh, you (PL) has He alive made with Him, forgive being us all transgressions; 14erasing the inscription with the laws, which was against us, which was opposed to us, and has it taken away from our midst, nailing it to the tree; 15and disarmed the powers and authorities, has He them made publicly to mockery, triumphing over them in Him.

16therefore let you (non Jews) anyone not judge about food and drink, or what relates to a Yom Tov, or Roshei Chodeshim, or Shabbos; 17which are a shadow of the things about to come, the (substance) (solid) body however is of the Moshiach. 18let you (PL) anyone not rob your reward through a (affecting) humility of self alone and a worship (religion) to angels, insists self with those (visions), which he has seen, and is conceited puffed up with his earthly understanding, 19and holds self not with the Head, from which the whole body, through the ligaments and sinews, nourished and held together, grows with the growth of Hashem.

20if you (PL) are died with Moshiach in relation to the foundational rudiments of the cosmos, why, as living in the world, submit you (PL) yourselves to legalisms: 21take not in the hand into, them not taste, touch not on (quote unquote)— 22these all things become destroyed through use—according to the commands and teachings of (mere) human beings? 23such (things) have only the appearance of wisdom in a worship of the will and in an abasement and in a torture of the body, it has however not any worth against the indulgence of the flesh.
