1there are however also were false prophets among the people, as there will also be among you (PL) false teachers of Torah, who will secretly bring in destructive (heretical) schisms, and deny the L-rd, who had them bought, and bring on self a speedy destruction. 2and a many will follow their debauchery, through whom the Way of truth will be spoken evil. 3and out of greed for money will they you (PL) make merchandice with deceitful words; this judgment on them from long on (ago) delays itself not and the destruction their slumbers not. 4for if Hashem has not spared the angels, who had sinned, but had them handed over in caves of darkness in the underworld, to be kept to become unto judgment; 5and when He has not spared the old world, but has preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, while He has sent the flood on a world of unrighteous people; 6and making into ashes the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, has He them judged with a devastation, setting them as an example for unrighteous of what is coming; 7and has rescued the righteous Lot, who was tormented become by the licentious conduct of the shameful men outside the law (lawless)— 8for he, the righteous person, living among them, has plagued his righteous soul with what he has seen and heard day out day one of their evil deeds outside the law (lawless)— 9so knows how the L-rd rescue to do the G-dfearing from a trial, unrighteous people however to hold fast for punishment in the Day of Judgment; 10and especially the (ones), who go after filthy lusts of the flesh, and despise/scorn authority; insolent faces, impudent, they tremble not to blaspheme authorities; 11which angels, greater than they are in strength and might, bring not any defamatory condemnation against them before the L-rd. 12they however, like unreasoning beasts, by nature born for this, caught and killed to be, reviling/slandering that, which they understand not, they will perish in their corruption, 13suffering the reward of unrighteousness; (they), who deem it for a delight self to let eat voraciously by day, (are) stains and blemishes, getting drunk themselves on carousing in their falsehoods, eating (and drinking) with you (PL); 14have eyes full with fornication and not be filled of sin; entice to themselves unstable souls; have an heart accustomed to money avarice; are children of a curse; 15deserting the way of straight, have they gone astray, and followed in the way of Balaam son of B'or, who has love had the reward of unrighteousness; 16he has however had a punishment for his own sin; a mute beast in harness, speaking with a in a human way voice, has prohibited the madness of the prophet. 17the these are springs without water, and clouds driven of a windstorm; for them is reserved the dim gloominess of the darkness. 18because speaking proud words without a sense, entice they with the lusts of the body through debauchery the those, who are scarcely escaped from the (ones), which live in error; 19while them are they promised freedom, are they themselves slaves of corruption; because from which one becomes overcome, to that becomes he also enslaved. 20because if after the as they are escaped from the pollution of the world through the knowledge of our L-rd and Redeemer Yehoshua the Moshiach, are they again entangled in the these and are defeated become, is their end worse than the beginning. 21because it were better for them not to have recognized the way of righteousness, than, after recognizing, themselves turn away from the holy commandment, which is handed over become to them. 22by them has self confirmed that true proverb: a dog has self returned to that, which he has vomited, and a washed swine self to wallow in mud!
