2 Corinthians letter 11
11
chapter eleven
1I wish would you (PL) a little bear with my foolishness; and even maintain you (PL) it out from me. 2because I jealous for you (PL) with a divine jealousy, for I had you (PL) betrothed to one man, as a pure virgin to present before the Moshiach. 3I dread me however, lest, as the serpent did deceive Eve with you (PL) craftiness, will your (PL) thoughts destroyed become from the simplicity and purity in relation to the Moshiach. 4for if the one, who comes, preaches an other Yehoshua, which we have not preached, or you (PL) do receive an other spirit, which you (PL) did not receive, or an other Good News which you (PL) have not accepted, put up with you (PL) (it) well. 5for I think, that I am nothing behind the greatest Shlichim. 6and if even I am plain in speaking, however not in knowledge; but on every way have we ourselves revealed in all things to you (PL). 7or have I thereby done a sin, humbling self alone, so that you (PL) shall raised up be, for I have you (PL) announced the Good News of Hashem free of charge? 8other kehiles have I robbed, receiving pay, so as you (PL) to serve; 9and while I was with you (PL) and had suffered in need, am I no one emcumber; because the brothers, who are come from Macedonia, have full filled my need; and in all have I myself guarded not (to be) any burden for you (PL), and will I yet be careful. 10as certain as Moshiach's truth is in me, that the this boasting will me no one not ban in the regions of Achaia. 11why? because I have you (PL) not loved? Hashem knows. 12but what I do, will I also do, in order that I shall prune/cut off the opening of those, who seek an opening; so that in this, with which they boast themselves, shall they found be also so, as we. 13because such (men) are false Shlichim, deceitful workers, who disguise themselves for Shlichim of the Moshiach. 14and it is not any wonder; because the Satan himself transforms/disguises himself for an angel of light. 15it is therefore not any great thing, if even his servants disguise self as servants of righteousness; whose end will be according to their deeds.
16again say I: shall me no one not hold/regard for a fool; and if yet, please shall you (PL) then me take up as a fool, so that I shall me also a little boast. 17what I speak, speak I not according to the L-rd, but as in foolishness, in the this intention of boasting. 18since a many boast themselves according to the flesh, will I me also (so) boast. 19for you (PL) put up with gladly the fools, being (yourselves) wise ones. 20for you (PL) put up with it, when someone enslaves you (PL), when someone eats you (PL) up, when someone takes you (PL) (captive), when someone raises up (himself), when someone slaps you (PL) in face into. 21to our shame say I it, like (seems as if) as we were weak (too weak for that!) become. but with whatever someone is haughty, I speak foolishness, (thereby) will I also be “haughty”. 22they are Hebrews? I am also. they are Israelites? I also. they are Abraham's seed? I also. 23they are Moshiach's servants?—I speak as of crazy—I further; a many more in labors, a many more in imprisonments, in (rod) strokes over the measure, many in dangers mortal. 24from Judaeans have I five times received forty lashes minus one. 25three times has they me beaten with rods, once am I stoning become, three times have I suffered shipwreck, a day with a night have I spend time in the depth (of sea (the open sea)); 26a many times journeying, in dangers of rivers, in dangers of robbers, in dangers of (my own) people, in dangers of nations (of the world), in dangers in city, in dangers in the wilderness, in dangers on the sea, in dangers among false brothers; 27in labor and toil, often without sleep by night, in hunger and in thirst, often in fastings, in chill and nakedness (and barely clothed sufficiently). 28besides the external things, (even this), what comes on me daily—the care/anxiety for all kehiles. 29who is weak, and I am not weak? who becomes misled to the stumbling? and I burn me not on? 30if I must me boast, will I me boast with my weakness. 31the G-d and Father of the L-rd Yehoshua, he, who is praise on eternal, knows, that I tell not any lie. 32in Damascus had the governor of the king Aretas watched the city Damascus, so that me to arrest; 33and they had me lowered through a window in a basket over the wall, and I am escaped from his hands.
