2 Corinthians letter 10
10
chapter ten
1and I myself, Paul, beg you (PL) through the meekness and gentleness of the Moshiach, I, who face to face am a humble spirit among you (PL), from a distance however bold in relation to you (PL): 2I ask, that when I will be present, shall I not must be bold with the confidence, with which I have in mind to to be bold against some, who consider us as we would live according to flesh. 3because although we live in the flesh, lead we yet not war according to flesh; 4because the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but powerful for Hashem to the tearing down strongholds. 5we throw away ruses, and every high thing, which raises up itself against the knowledge of Hashem, and take captive every thought to the obedience of the Moshiach, 6and stand ready ourselves to exact justice with every disobedience, whenever your obedience will to be complete. 7you (PL) look on the appearance? if someone is with himself convinced, that he belongs to the Moshiach, shall he himself again this consider, like he belongs to the Moshiach, so belong we also. 8because when I shall me even somewhat more boast with our authority, which the L-rd has us given to your edification, and not to your tearing down, will I not put to shame become: 9so that I shall not appear as I would you (PL) want frighten through my letters. 10because they say: the letters indeed are weighty and strong; however he himself is weak, and his speech—scorned (quote unquote). 11let such a person this consider, that what we are from a distance through the word of letters, this are we also in actions (bodily) when present. 12because we dare not ourselves to class or compare with some, who praise self alone; but measure themselves with self alone and comparing themselves with self alone, are they without understanding. 13we however will ourselves not boast without measure, but according to the sphere of action, which Hashem has us assigned, as measure to reach even unto to you (PL). 14because we stretch self not too much out, as we would not stretch to you (PL); because we are yet come also to you (PL) in the Good News of the Moshiach; 15not boasting ourselves without a measure of in the labor of others, but having the hope, while your faith grows, that we will enlarged become in you (PL) according to our sphere of action to an abundance, 16to proclaim the Good News in (lands, which) lying beyond you (PL), and self not to boast which pertains that, which is already prepared in an another's domain. 17who however it boasts self, the one let boast in the L-rd (G-d). (Yirmeyah 9, 23.) 18because not the one, who commends self alone, is approved, but the one, whom the L-rd commends.
