chapter three
1therefore, not being able it longer to bear, have we decided to remain alone in Athens; 2and (we) have sent Timothy the brother ours and Hashem's fellow worker in the good News of the Moshiach, you (PL) to strengthen and encourage about your faith, 3in order that anyone shall himself not be shaken in the these troubles; because you (PL) know yourselves, that for this were we appointed. 4because even when we are was with you (PL), did we you (PL) foretold, that we will to suffer troubles; and so did it happen, as you (PL) know. 5on account of that, when I could it already longer not be able to bear, did I also send myself to find out about your faith, lest that you (PL) the tempter tempted, and our effort is become to nothing. 6now however when Timothy is come to us from you (PL), and us informed the good news about your faith and love, and that you (PL) remember us always to the good, longing us to see, as we you (PL), 7are we therefore comforted become, brothers, by you (PL), in every affliction and trouble ours, through your faith; 8because now live we, when you (PL) stand firm in the L-rd. 9because what for a praise can we give to Hashem for you (PL), for the whole joy, with which we rejoice self on account of you (PL) before our G-d? 10by night and by day do we very much pray be, that we should see your face and complete that, which is missing (still) in your faith.
11and may our G-d and Father Himself and our L-rd Yehoshua us lead on the way to you (PL); 12and you (PL) may the L-rd increase and overflow in the love one to the other and to everyone, as also us to you (PL); 13so that He shall fortify your (PL) hearts, (to be) without a blemish in holiness before G-d and our Father, at the coming again of our L-rd Yehoshua with all His saints.
