chapter three
1also in this way, you (PL) wives, be subject to your (PL) own husbands; so that even if some are disobedient to the word, should they won over be without a word by the conduct of their wives, 2looking themselves on your pure conduct with reverence. 3let your finery be not the outer beautification, with braiding the hair and with putting on yourselves golden things, or with clothe yourselves (expensive) clothing; 4but the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable (adornment) of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious to Hashem. 5because so have themselves also once adorned the holy women, who have hoped on Hashem, and are was subject to their own husbands; 6as Sarah did obey Abraham, and him called lord; whose daughters you (PL) are become, when you (PL) do good (things) and fear yourselves not up of any whatever fear.
7also in this way, you (PL) husbands, live with them with understanding, and give up honor to the wife as to the weaker vessel since they are also co-heirs in the grace of life, so that your (PL) prayers should not hinder/impede to be.
8and to the end, have all one mind, have empathy, be brotherly, merciful, keep yourselves humble; 9pay not up with evil for evil, or verbal attack for verbal attack, but on the contrary: bless; because for this are you (PL) called become, so that you (PL) shall inherit a blessing. 10because:
who it will love have the life
and to see good days,
let him keep his tongue from evil,
and his lips from speaking falseness;
11let he himself turn away from evil and do good (things),
let him seek peace and pursue it.
12because the eyes of the L-rd (G-d) are on the righteous (ones)
and His ears to their prayer;
the face however of the L-rd is against those,
who do evil.
(Psalms 34, 13-17)
13and who will you (PL) do evil, when you (PL) will be zealous for the good? 14but if even you (PL) should to suffer on account of righteousness, are blessed you (PL); and before their fear shall you (PL) yourselves not dread, not shall you (PL) yourselves be alarmed; 15the L-rd however the Moshiach shall you (PL) make holy in your (PL) hearts; be always ready about an answer to every one, who asks you (PL) about the reason for the hope in you (PL), but with meekness and with respect; 16have a good conscience, so that in what one speaks up about you (PL), should put to shame be those, who insult your good conduct of life in the Moshiach. 17because it is better, if this is Hashem's will, to to suffer for doing good, than for doing evil. 18because even Moshiach is once died for our sin, the Tsaddik for the unrighteous people, so that he should us bring to Hashem; and is put to death become according to the flesh, however alive made become in the Spirit; 19in which He is also gone and proclaimed (Heb 9:27) to the spirits in prison (1 Pet 3:20; Eph 4:9-10), 20who are once were rebellious, when Hashem's patience has waited in the days of Noah, while it is prepared become the ark, in which a few, that means eight souls, are saved become through the water; 21this is also a prefigurement of the mikveh, which saves you (PL) now, not the removal of impurity from the body, but the desire/request for a good conscience in relation to Hashem, through the standing up again (from the dead) of Yehoshua the Moshiach; 22who is at Hashem's right hand, after that when He is up in heaven into; to him are subject angels and authorities and powers.
