One of the best ways to stay organized throughout your day is to make a checklist. It’s a way to write down exactly what it is that you want to accomplish in order for you to call that day a success. Not only does a checklist work to keep us on track, but it also dictates what our days are going to look like. It helps us prioritize what we need to do with our time, our energy, our efforts, and more. It helps us remember what’s important. Well, this verse from Micah can serve as a checklist of sorts for our spiritual lives. When we’re struggling to remember how to use our lives and influence for God, we can come back to the call here: act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.

So this week, use this passage as a checklist of sorts. First, memorize it so that it’s in your heart and mind ready to lead you. Then, find a way to do one (or all!) of the three: to act justly toward someone, to show mercy or understanding in a situation, or to spend some time on your own with God.
