What is a 'loophole.'?

In any contract, subscription, or agreement, people find loopholes to get the best service and attain the most benefit if they follow the loophole.

The Pharisees did their best to make sure that followed every word, and every detail of the law of Moses. They took anything that went against the law very seriously. What were the charges that the Pharisees accused Jesus of doing that broke the law? What was Jesus's response to each charge? What were the standards that Jesus followed that Christ wants us to follow?
