Jesus declared that He was the vine, and His followers were the branches. He said that if we stayed close to Him, we would bear spiritual fruit, but without Him, we could do nothing.
Our spiritual strength comes from staying close to Jesus, the true vine. If we stray from His power, we are helpless. But if we abide in Him, we bear fruit to our account and glorify and honor God, the Father.
Are you abiding in Christ? Take time to deepen your connection with Him through prayer, worship, and Bible reading. Evaluate areas where you may try to go it alone and return to Jesus for strength.
