Journey With Jesus 365ናሙና

Jesus was more concerned with spiritual family than his physical family. His intent was to introduce a new concept regarding the family of God. When Jesus looked around and saw all who were sitting with Him, he said, Behold my mother and my brethren. Jesus was making it clear that spiritual ties are much deeper than family ties.

Jesus was not suggesting that believers ignore or abandon their families to serve God, but that they put God’s will above everything else in life. Our love for God should be so great that our love for family would seem insignificant in comparison.
