Journey With Jesus 365ናሙና

“But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?” (Luke 22:48)

In this passage, we see the betrayal of Jesus by one of His closest disciples, Judas. With a simple kiss, a symbol of affection and closeness, Judas identified Jesus to the crowd that then came and arrested Him. The pain of this betrayal is evident as Jesus addresses Judas directly.

Judas' actions serve as a tragic reminder of how easily we can allow worldly desires, greed, or fear to lead us astray. Despite walking with Jesus, Judas allowed his heart to be swayed. Sometimes we can be like Judas, betraying Jesus with our actions, words, or choices.
