“Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.” (Luke 23:47)

As the centurion witnessed Jesus' death on the cross, something profound happened in his heart. He saw the way Jesus died—without hatred or bitterness—and recognized that this was no ordinary man. This soldier who had been part of the execution, declared that Jesus was righteous, a declaration of truth made in the most unexpected of places.

Even in His suffering, Jesus’ character shone through, leading others to recognize His divinity. Have you seen Jesus for who He truly is? His life, death, and resurrection challenge us to acknowledge Him as the righteous Savior. How can you glorify God and declare His righteousness in your life?
