7 Dimensional Relationship As A Believer

DAY 3 OF 7

KINGDOM AND CITIZEN

The next phrase, ‘Your Kingdom Come,’ makes us realize that we belong to the Kingdom of God as citizens. We are not only His children and worshiper, but also citizens. (Philippians 3:20) God is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Revelation 19:16) When Lord answered Pilate, He said that his Kingdom is not of this world. (John 18:36) This Kingdom is unique, eternal, and so unshakable by any events in history. (Hebrews 12:28) Another uniqueness of His Kingdom is there is one and only King who reigns eternally. (Hebrews 13:8)

Kingdoms provide its citizens privileges and responsibilities. There are many privileges that are spiritual and eternal granted by the Lord. The numerous promises in the Bible, joy, peace, forgiveness, grace, mercy, kindness, protection, security, contentment…etc., are few of the privileges. At the same time, there are responsibilities in the Kingdom. One of the awesome responsibilities is to establish the Kingdom of God on this earth. For that, we have to invite other people into this Kingdom. God has commissioned us as a part of the Global Church to take part in establishing the Kingdom of God on this earth. Indeed, this is not a responsibility or burden but honor and privilege.

The third relationship is God our King, and we are citizens of that Holy Eternal Kingdom. Our priority in life should be the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. (Matthew 6:33)
