Everlasting Love

Let’s think about everlasting, ceaseless, endless, continuous, perpetual love. That is a tiny description of God’s love for us. His love for us never ends, and it is new every morning— every morning forever. We could exhaust a dictionary trying to define the beginning and end of his love. It is limitless and indestructible.

We also find his love for us is uninterrupted. Whoops! You slipped and failed. Time to ask the Lord to love you again. No. Not only does the Father still love you; he never stops loving you when you turn your back on him. There is nothing you can do to stop God from loving you. However, you can turn away and not accept all he has for you. He is saddened but still standing by your side waiting patiently for your return. Your Father in heaven is unfailing in his loving kindness toward you. He will always have your name in his heart.

Lord, keep my heart hidden in yours. Teach me each day about your love. Thank you for holding me close as your child.
