21 Days of Moving Toward Godናሙና
Day 20: Ending Strong
I remember when I was in middle school, I ran track and my race was the 800-meter run. I don’t think I ever won a race, but I remember I was usually in 6th place or worse rounding that last turn and somehow, I would typically finish in the top 4. There was something about that last turn that would really fire me up and I’d gain some ground on that last 100 meters.
As it stands today, you are in the last 100 meters of this 21-Day Fast. It is now time to finish what you’ve started and remember why you even began this fast. Most of us started this fast because we want to see God move in the supernatural in our lives. We want to see God move or change a circumstance that we know we just cannot do in our own strength. Some of you may be praying for a relationship to be restored that has seemed dead for a long time, or maybe you feel all alone and that no one, not even God, cares about you. Remember this, God created you to run the race that He set for you to run. He knows what’s on your heart and He is cheering you on as you finish this last 100 meters.
Don’t slow down now, finish strong! Focus your thoughts and prayers these last couple of days as you desire to hear from God. Don’t let anything distract you from gaining steam these last 100 meters as you continue to sprint toward all that God has for you.
When we move, endurance happens.
