Walking With Jesus (Repentance)

DAG 4 VAN 7

Your life

There are billions of people living in this world. They breathe, eat, drink, move, work, reproduce, and so on. They live because they exist. They live naturally and end their life by death. Many people also live to survive; they do everything to keep living.

However, Jesus did not talk about that kind of life – where you try to survive. Lord Jesus offers a meaningful and quality life. True life does not come from ourselves or our efforts. Life is given to us by God Himself through Jesus Christ. The Bible says that life is not about what, but who lives that life. He gave Himself when He offered us life. Yes, Jesus Christ gave Himself to give us life.

God asks us to live our lives seriously. Life is a process of becoming what He wants it to be. Life is made up of stages to become like Christ. We have to accept Jesus Christ to obtain real life. We have no other way; we have to let Jesus live in us. We must truly live the life of Christ.

In the life of Christ, we will find truth, peace, and justice. We can't do this without Christ. Without Christ, man's righteous life is completely useless and wasted like a dirty rag. On the other hand, we also cannot claim to be people who live in Christ when we do not live in righteousness, justice, and peace - because all of these are inseparable.

Reflection:

1. How do you live your life? Do you only live to wait for your death or do you live properly as a believer?

2. What are you trying to achieve in this life? Does Jesus live in your life?

Practice: Prove that Jesus lives in your life!
