So is dit goed en aanneemlik vir God, ons Verlosser, wat wil hê dat alle mense gered word en tot kennis van die waarheid kom. Daar is immers net een God, en daar is net een Middelaar tussen God en die mense, die mens Christus Jesus wat Homself as 'n losprys vir almal gegee het. Dit was op die bestemde tyd die bewys van die bedoeling van God. Met die oog hierop is ek aangestel as prediker en apostel, as 'n leraar om die heidennasies te onderrig in die boodskap van die geloof en die waarheid. Ek praat die waarheid, ek lieg nie. Ek wil dus hê dat die mans by elke plek van samekoms met 'n skoon gewete hande in gebed tot God moet ophef, vry van onmin en twis.
