I Want You Well

“Lord, if it be your will…” So often I hear you say this when you cry out to Me for healing. Child, when it comes to physical healing, you can be assured of My will! A healthy body is a reflection of My goodness and My abundant love for you. I grieve over your brokenness, and I want you to be completely whole. Sickness and death were never part of My original plan. I created and called My creation good. When sin and sickness entered the world, My beautiful creation fell into decay. But I came to restore everything the enemy stole from you! I came to destroy the works of the devil and heal your diseases by the stripes on My back. 

When you ask me for healing only if it is My will, are you not really praying, “If it’s not Your will to heal me, then let this cancer take me?” No, this is not My nature. When I was here on earth, no one who came to Me ever walked away without being healed. There are many times when I healed all who came to Me. I never prayed “if it be your will” to My Father when I healed the sick and neither did My disciples. We directed our prayers at the affliction and prayed with authority in the power of the Spirit. Yes, I came to save, heal, and deliver, and I am the same, yesterday, today, and forever!

May I ask you a question? If it’s not My will for you to be well, why would you seek medical help for this cancer? If you believe it’s possible for Me to want you sick, wouldn’t you be acting against My will? No, I want you to heal because it’s My nature to heal. My love and compassion compel Me to heal. Dear one, it delights Me that you want My will for your life. But I need you to agree with Me on this: I want you well.

Lord, thank you for being an unchanging God in a changing world! By the power of your Spirit, You healed the sick when You walked on earth; Your disciples healed the sick in the early Church, and by the same Spirit, You heal the sick today! Lord, I believe it is your heart’s desire to heal and restore. In Jesus’ name, cancer leave my body!
