The Fullness of the Good News

My child, I want to receive the full reward for my suffering. When I was on earth, the Good News wasn’t only what I said about salvation, but what I did. I combined preaching about forgiveness with healing the sick and expelling demons as a demonstration of the fullness of My Gospel message. I didn’t just come to explain the way to eternal life; I came to proclaim the Good News to the poor, freedom for the prisoners, recovery of sight for the blind, and to set the oppressed free!

My message of hope didn’t stop with Me. First, I sent My twelve disciples with power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases in My name. Then I sent the seventy-two to heal the sick and share the Good News. Finally, I sent all who believe in me to preach the Good News to everyone everywhere. I promised that signs and wonders would follow them and they would be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them. Yes, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done and even greater works!

After I ascended, I continued to show through My followers that healing and miracles were a vital part of My Church and My message to the world. When Peter prayed for boldness in preaching, He also asked for the power to do healing miracles through My name. My servant Paul fully presented the Good News by his message of hope and by the miraculous signs and wonders he worked among the people.

My child, My message hasn’t changed! I want you to experience the fullness of the Good News: salvation for your spirit, freedom for your soul, and healing for your body. 

Lord, while I anticipate my glorious future, help me never forget the power you have given me today! I pray that the healing of cancer and all sickness and disease will be a commonplace in churches, clinics, and hospitals all throughout the world as people spread your message of hope and bow to Your holy name. Please lead me to people who walk in the fullness of your authority; people who cast out evil and place their hands on the sick and see them be healed. Help me to both experience and share the fullness of the Good News!
