Plan Info
Thoughts and PrayersSample
As a teenager, I remember times when I would get in trouble at school. Eventually, I knew my parents would get a call from the school telling them what I’d done. I learned in those days that sometimes my parents’ response would be a little lighter if I went to them and confessed my unwise decision before someone else told them. Why? Because it showed I understood where I had gone wrong. In the same way, we confess to God not because God doesn’t already know what we’ve done, but because it’s a good practice for naming our mistakes so we can do better next time.
Saying out loud or recognizing and taking ownership for where we messed up helps us develop humility and awareness of growing.

About this Plan
