Your True Self

When you choose to follow Jesus, He gives you a new self who loves God, lives for Him, and shows others what He’s like. 

Having a new self doesn’t mean Jesus erases you, or that you’ll have a different personality, or that you’ll feel fake or weird. It means He forgives all the wrong choices you’ve made so you can be friends with God. Jesus takes away your old self who couldn’t say no to sin—and gives you a new self who loves growing to be more like Him!
