Determined To Follow JesusSample

It is a real challenge to stay the course that God has planned for you when you don’t quite know the route you are taking and how you will reach your destined destination. When uncertainty fills our minds, we question where we are going and how things will turn out as we make aims to follow God’s word in obedience. The only assurance we have is that God gave his word, promise, and confirmation and we must trust him to complete what he started in our lives. I’ve realized that when God gives a command or calls us to a specific task the logistics aren’t laid out for me to see and then say God I’m ready to follow you. 

Faith must immediately take root to trust God and believe that He will come through in fulfilling His word. God has a dynamic impeccable track record of faithfulness in scripture, where believers testified to the manifestation of God’s promises. 

Even when things don’t make sense we must be determined to follow Jesus. Follow Jesus in the midst of the fog, questions, darkness, ridicule, mocking, scorn, hate, and in the moments of uncertainty similar to Mary the mother of Jesus.   

Mary was determined to follow Jesus regarding God’s plan for her no matter what individuals said about her or how they treated her.

Mary was determined to follow Jesus even when others didn’t understand the call of God on her life. 

Mary was determined to Follow Jesus even if it meant to lose the relationship with Joseph. 

Mary was determined to follow Jesus when the direction of her life’s course appeared impossible. 

Mary was determined to follow Jesus despite the social stigma that could have appeared during that time, she aimed towards the target to relentlessly follow God when things probably didn’t fully make sense to her. 

No matter what God is calling you to do, don’t be discouraged if you don’t know how everything will work out believe, trust, and have faith that what God has revealed to you as it relates to His word, He will watch over it and perform it. 

Although things aren’t clear, God will fulfill the call on our lives if we remain obedient and determined to follow Him.
