At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...
USE YOUR GIFTS
God has given all of us unique gifts. Whether it's your skills, talents, character traits, experiences, lessons learned, or even some of the stuff you own, you have a lot you can share with others. Today's challenge is going to help you think about the gifts God has uniquely given you, and how you can use those gifts to love God and others. Because when we use our gifts for God, we grow!
CHALLENGE
All around us are people in need of hope. Whether from financial instability, illness, a broken relationship, or something else, there are people in your community who are hurting. For this challenge, look for someone who needs a reflection of hope and use one of your gifts to provide that for them. This could be done by spending time with them and getting to know their story, or you could help supply a need.
Think creatively. For example, if you're an artist and know someone who needs money to pay for an expense, make some of your art, sell it, and donate the money. The ways we can provide hope to others are as unique as the gifts God has given us.

As we grow and experience more life, we might find the shadows of doubt or questions creeping towards us. Rather than running from the shadows, we can look to God to cast some light on the situation. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll take a look at stories that draw us closer to God's light whenever we feel lost in the shadows.
