Responding to Fear

For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
Isaiah 41:13

We cannot have a passive attitude towards fear, because in so doing, it is certain to dominate us. In the face of fear, there must be a reaction.

A passive attitude towards fear is one of the signs that it has dominated us. We cannot simply accept that we are afraid and not fight against it. We are talking about spiritual warfare.

If someone gives up on their mission because of fear, they are a person of little faith who has yielded to Satan's plan and does not believe in the power of the word of God.

The Bible teaches us that the fear we should have is of losing our soul and going to hell.

Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 10:28

Do not accept being dominated by the spirit of fear. Fight against this giant that often seems invincible. The word of God says that greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world. Even if you have failed once or more in the face of your fears, do not give up fighting and advancing against it.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear. Because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4:18

The love of God has the power to cast away your fears, believe that!

If you feed your fears, they will dominate you. But if you face them, you will be victorious.
