Wisdom motivated the Lord to create the earth. It was a wise thing to make. It was what God made when he put wisdom into the moment, and that is awesome. Wisdom is then foundational to creation and we, through the redeemed relationship we enjoy with God as believers, have full access to the wisdom that founded the earth. We are his creation; we are part of that wisdom.
Where wisdom is the spiritual steam, understanding is the intellect. The heavens were established through the understanding founded in God. It is a beautiful picture we struggle to comprehend but glory in its reality. We are his workmanship. We are created to be close to him, worshiping, working, and wondering at his goodness.
Lord, make me in the way that pleases you and create in me the desire to be exactly what will bring you glory. Thank you for your earth and heavens.
